One Congress, Three AMECKO Projects
At this year’s German Urology Congress, three exhibitors at the accompanying industrial exhibition placed their trust in AMECKO GmbH: Amgen, Lilly Deutschland, and Meda Pharma. The event, organized by the German Society of Urology (DGU), took place from September 26 to 29, 2012, at the Congress Center of Messe Leipzig. With over 7,000 visitors from around the world, the annual conference is the central event for this medical specialty in Germany and the third-largest urology congress internationally.
The highly modern and architecturally striking exhibition grounds in Leipzig provided the ideal setting for the three successful presentations under AMECKO’s project management. For Amgen and Lilly, the exhibition stand builder realized individual concepts within the existing modular construction systems. Amgen’s 60 sqm corner stand focused on interaction and emotional engagement. At several displays with touch monitors, interested visitors could immerse themselves in the exhibitor’s product worlds and access important information. A special highlight of the exhibition presence additionally ensured a longer dwell time among the professional audience: a barista prepared coffee at the highest level, reviving tired spirits.
Lilly’s 120 sqm presentation was characterized by an exceptional activation. Each visitor could have an individual “waiting room poster” created. A specially engaged photographer was available for this purpose, whose photographs were directly incorporated into a large format on-site using special software and printed. Those portrayed could collect their very own personalized poster later. The professional audience was also offered considerable culinary experiences. Each stand visitor could have their individual freshly baked bread assembled. A wide variety of ingredients were available for selection, as well as numerous variations of spreads for the topping. For the first time, AMECKO managed Meda Pharma’s presence at the DGU Congress as well, after the exhibition stand construction company from the Ruhr region had already been active for the client in several other areas. Meda presented itself in Leipzig on 15 sqm.
