Reaching New Heights

With a 500 sqm double-decker booth, Winkhaus presented itself at Fensterbau Frontale, the trade fair for windows, doors, and facades in Nuremberg.
On behalf of the globally esteemed family-owned company, AMECKO undertook the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of the partially predefined booth structure to make the wide range of security door locking systems, access control, and smart home solutions tangible.
Among other things, the objective was to present the new product aluPilot, a fitting system for quick and easy installation. Following the motto “Click. Click. Done.”, the attachment of the aluPilot was demonstrated on an assembly table and additionally communicated in detail on a themed wall.
In addition to the long-distance recognition, further product walls were equipped with textile-covered LED light boxes. “This contemporary production method is cost-efficient, effective, and offers the quality advantage of a seamless and homogeneous graphic surface for messages, logos, and area designations,” says Karin Momkvist, Key Account Manager at AMECKO.
On the back of the information counter, a 4×4 meter graphic with full-surface digital printing was installed, which integrated with great impact into a high-quality overall image.
Furthermore, a smart home table was developed by the Oberhausen-based exhibition stand builder in collaboration with the agency Volt from Münster. This was equipped with applications provided by the client. Workshops and meetings were convened in advance to develop detailed planning so that the individual components could be optimally positioned in the end. Additionally, several test phases were conducted in the in-house warehouse and reviewed and optimized in close coordination with the client. The presentation became a highlight through the abstract construction of a house as an eye-catcher. The aim was to present intelligent components for smart home solutions for controlling and monitoring windows.
In the middle of the Winkhaus product world, the booth’s own “ice cream café” was positioned, serving delicious Italian ice cream that was so tasty it became the talk of all exhibition halls. At times, this even led to queues forming next to display tables and the catering area. Visitors spent their waiting time in intensive conversations amid the client’s product presentations.
In addition to the purist look, furniture in a very comfortable wood finish was selected for the communication area. Furthermore, various elements such as the booth edge and booth rear were illuminated with LEDs to emphasize the modern and high-quality overall image. The reduction of displayed products and the additional floor created more space for visitors and booth staff.
“The result of the seamless collaboration with our client and the agency was ultimately a trade fair presentation that was achieved to complete satisfaction. A strong presence for the Winkhaus brand and its products that will remain memorable for visitors,” says AMECKO Managing Director Dirk Kretschmann. “Only in this way can we ultimately enable a return on investment for the client,” Kretschmann continues.
Winkhaus not only looks back on a successful trade fair appearance but is already looking ahead to upcoming trade fair events, which will be successfully tackled with the well-coordinated team of Winkhaus, Volt, and AMECKO!
