Solid, Aesthetic, Sustainable

Successful premiere in the capital: For the first time, CUBE GmbH hosted the CUBE Tech Fair at CityCube Messe Berlin. The event was initiated in cooperation with Messe Berlin and with support from, among others, Bayer AG, Volkswagen AG and Dell.
The new B2B platform for Industry 4.0 brought founders from around the world together with established industry leaders. Highlights included Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and House of Cards star and tech activist Robin Wright.
Around 5,000 visitors learned about global innovations in the fields of health, infrastructure and manufacturing technology and experienced a supporting programme of expert talks, interviews, panel discussions and various innovation tours. The exhibitors: over 200 start-ups from all over the world. And each of them was represented with its own small stand.
For AMECKO, the task was to implement the external design coherently within a tight timeframe.
“We implemented the short-notice production, delivery and distribution of the partition walls and graphics for the individual companies, as well as on-site installation, just in time,” says Karin Momkvist, Account Manager at AMECKO. To ensure smooth and fast set-up and dismantling on site, all components were prepared for installation down to the last detail. The three thematic areas—health, infrastructure and manufacturing technology—each had their own colour scheme within the exhibition. Each individual stand picked up this colour theme in its own way, through full-surface graphics or coloured coatings, to create a cohesive overall look. In addition to the stand constructions, AMECKO also produced graphics for the CUBE Lounge, the stages and the press wall.
“The trade fair: an inspiring event; the job: an exciting challenge,” says AMECKO Managing Director and Project Manager Dirk Kretschmann about the CUBE Tech Fair.
Cube GmbH entrusted the organisation of the CUBE Tech Fair to f³ Event from Berlin, which developed a unique conference set-up and hall concept for the CUBE Tech Fair. The exhibition stand builder from Oberhausen was brought on board as a long-standing partner by f³ Managing Director Florian Fegeler. In the past, they successfully delivered interesting projects together, such as the “No Germs” campaign for hospitals in North Rhine-Westphalia. AMECKO carried out the detailed construction in close coordination with the executing architect, the technical management and the management of f³ Event.
The stand constructions for the start-ups were to be not only solid, aesthetic and informative, but also meet sustainability requirements. As the event is planned for several years, the components also had to be designed for multi-year use. “Resource-efficient action always plays a role in our projects,” explains Dirk Kretschmann. After dismantling by AMECKO, the objects await the next CUBE Tech Fair in their Berlin warehouse, which is set to go into its second round in 2018.
